Summer house in Norrtälje for opera singer Anne Sofie von Otter. The “Falun red paint” colour relates to the surrounding farm buildings. A summer house for year-round use. The house is a block-like little building that refrains from elaborating the symmetrical plan of the typical Swedish country house. Instead, the interior, with rooms of different heights on different levels and united by side passages, aims at creating a rich and varied milieu that contrasts to the more austere exterior.
