Celsing at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

Johan Celsing has been invited to present several works and a pavillion at
the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. It will be part of the exhibition "New
Nordic - Architecture and Identity" opening the 29th of June.

The pavillion is one of five full-scale pavillions at the exhibition and
represents a ceremonial space under construction.

New apartment building in Malmö

Johan Celsing arkitektkontor is working on a new 16-floor apartment building
in Västra hamnen, Malmö, as part of the KKH-project (Kongress, Konsert och
Hotell). Groundbreaking for the whole project is on the 27th of June.
Symposium: Tectonic Practice & Thinking in Architecture

Practice and Thinking in Architecture, the 19th of April. Other practices

Samariterhemmet Uppsala

Johan Celsing arkitektkontor has won an invited competition for a new inner
city hospital in Uppsala. The hospital is a major extension (10,000 m2) to an
existing hospital, Samariterhemmet (The House of the Samaritan).

The image shows part of the new complex at the rear of the earlier building by
the 20th century architect Carl Bergsten, known for Liljevalchs Art Gallery in
Stockholm.

Samariterhemmet is an philantropic institution from the late 19th century.
