This large enclave of housing projects from the 60:ies in the northern parts of Lund is a typical example of modernistic city planning -density is rather low and the structure of roads for cars and walkways are separated in a fashion typical for this time.
To make a positive development possible for this area a new structure of streets needs to be established in order to create new properties for housing and commercial services that could give desired densification. The green areas and parks could also, with this new structure, be given better access and become spatially defined. Furthermore some of the existing streets could be reinforced with new buildings.
In our proposal we show some important starting points for a future development that exemplifies some of the possibilities stated above.
